Zumbi dos Palmares

In this new journey, hope you all still following me, I understand that if there are any spelling mistakes, but I'm still environment with the fact of thinking and writing in English.

I would like to emphasize my pleasure to write on various themes, and talking about it (Saturday holiday in Brazil's black consciousness), maybe it's funny, but many people criticize the fact that this date exist, but they forget that Brazil is a country mixed of blacks, Indians and whites, where beauty reigns, joy takes over the streets, either in the carnival festivities is important, or even at parties on the corner, this special day, marked by the death of a black hero named Zumbi dos Palmares, who fought for the recognition of African culture in Brazil colony, strongly questioned slavery, and someone who represents so well the symbol of the African struggle in Brazil, was born here in my home state, Alagoas this beautiful land, and led to authority the Quilombo dos Palmares, the last point of black resistance that grew to about 30,000 inhabitants, and died in 1965, on November 20 marked the history of his people, causing them to be remembered even today their fight, leaving his legacy, because in Brazil something changed, but much remains.

315 years have passed, but their struggle is still current.
